Delete your account

You can permanently delete your AECORD account, operated by AECORD One Private Limited, at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what data is removed, what we are legally required to retain, and how long the process takes.

Delete your account in the app or on the web

If you can sign in to your account, this is the fastest way:

1. Sign in to your AECORD account.
2. Go to Account → Settings, then open the Danger Zone section.
3. Select Delete account.
4. We'll email a confirmation link to your registered address. Click the link to permanently confirm the deletion.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to your account, email support@aecord.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What we delete

When your deletion request is completed, we permanently remove the personal data associated with your account, including:

• Your profile and account details (name, email address, phone number);
• Saved bookmarks and recently viewed items;
• Enquiry, booking, and request history tied to your account;
• Photos and other content you uploaded to your profile.

What we retain, and why

Certain records are retained for a limited period after account deletion where we are legally required to keep them — for example, transaction and payment records needed for tax, audit, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes under applicable Indian law. These records are held under strict access controls and are securely deleted, or irreversibly anonymised, once they are no longer required.

Timeline

In-app deletions confirmed via the email link take effect immediately. Requests made by email are actioned within 30 days, and you will receive a confirmation once your account and eligible data have been deleted.
